Miss Sushi’s Raspberries Caramel Cheesecake Dessert Sushi with Chocolats Favoris

The dessert that will surprise all your guests (in the best way!). For true caramel lovers only!

  • 1 square rice paper sheet 
  • ½ cup maple syrup dessert sushi rice* 
  • 1 slice store-bought sponge cake 
  • ¼ cup softened cream cheese 
  • 1 jar Chocolats Favoris Maple Caramel 
  • 1 container fresh raspberries 

*Maple dessert sushi rice: cooked Calrose rice mixed with a bit of maple syrup and store-bought custard.

  1. Mix the cream cheese with the maple caramel. Set aside. 
  2. Spread the maple dessert sushi rice in a thin, even layer over the rice paper sheet. 
  3. Add a line of the maple caramel cream cheese mixture in the center. 
  4. Place the strip of sponge cake on top of the caramel cream cheese. 
  5. Drizzle with more maple caramel and add whole raspberries in a line beneath the cake. 
  6. Roll tightly, just like traditional sushi. 
  7. Let rest for a few minutes. 
  8. Cut into 10 pieces using a damp knife. 
  9. Garnish with a drizzle of caramel and a fresh raspberry on each piece, if desired.
