Miss Sushi’s Raspberries Caramel Cheesecake Dessert Sushi with Chocolats Favoris

The dessert that will surprise all your guests (in the best way!). For true caramel lovers only!
- 1 square rice paper sheet
- ½ cup maple syrup dessert sushi rice*
- 1 slice store-bought sponge cake
- ¼ cup softened cream cheese
- 1 jar Chocolats Favoris Maple Caramel
- 1 container fresh raspberries
*Maple dessert sushi rice: cooked Calrose rice mixed with a bit of maple syrup and store-bought custard.
- Mix the cream cheese with the maple caramel. Set aside.
- Spread the maple dessert sushi rice in a thin, even layer over the rice paper sheet.
- Add a line of the maple caramel cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Place the strip of sponge cake on top of the caramel cream cheese.
- Drizzle with more maple caramel and add whole raspberries in a line beneath the cake.
- Roll tightly, just like traditional sushi.
- Let rest for a few minutes.
- Cut into 10 pieces using a damp knife.
- Garnish with a drizzle of caramel and a fresh raspberry on each piece, if desired.
