All your questions about online orders

Due to the ongoing strike at Canada Post, Chocolats Favoris has taken the initiative of using alternative carriers to ensure delivery of your orders.

However, due to the high demand on these carriers, additional delays may occur. If you want to receive your purchases quickly, we recommend that you use our in-store pickup service. You can pick up your products directly in the shop, without waiting for delivery.

Delivery times range from 7 to 10 business days from the date of shipment and not the date of purchase. If the deadline exceeds 15 days after sending the order confirmation by email, please write to us at [email protected] indicating the recipient, delivery address and reference number.

Make sure to provide your order number, the email address used for the order, and the correct postal address to [email protected] and we will make the modification if the package has not yet left our warehouse.

If the ordered package is already being processed by the delivery company, we unfortunately cannot modify the address. In this case, you must refuse the package. It will then be returned to us and we can proceed with the reshipment! Fees may apply.

When it is a postal code error and the street number, street, and city are correct, our shipping partners automatically correct the postal code on your package. This may, however, delay the delivery process. If they cannot correct the postal code, the package will be rerouted back to us. Fees may apply.

You can track your package at any time thanks to your order confirmation received by email. For any other inquiries, please send an email to [email protected] with your order reference number and the email address used for your order. We remind you that your package may take a little longer to arrive during busier periods. We have no control over delivery times. We ask you to be patient and respectful towards our team and those of our shipping partners.

First, check your spam (junk emails), as your confirmation may be there.

Otherwise, please send an email to [email protected], with the reference number of your order if known, as well as the email address used for it.

It is possible to prepare an order and pick it up in-store via the function Order Now. This allows you to choose the desired store, the date and time of the order, and the chocolate products you want to order. You can even have your delicious ice creams prepared in advance!

If you go through the Shop section, fill your shopping cart, and proceed with the order, it will be delivered by a carrier within 3 to 10 business days. In this case, it is not possible to pick up the merchandise in-store.

Fortunately, during the entire summer period, refrigerated packages are automatically applied for all orders on our online store! So no risk that your chocolate melts!

All your questions about our Chocolats Favoris stores

First, know that all instructions are listed on the back of the product in case of doubt.

Fondue in a 215 to 425g.

The can should be submerged in water for the entire recommended preparation time, which is :

  • 15 to 20 minutes of boiling for 215g fondues.
  • 20 to 25 minutes of boiling for 425g fondues.

Dark chocolate takes slightly longer to melt than white and milk chocolate. As water evaporates, anticipate and choose a pot large enough to add water as needed so that there is always a good amount of liquid above the can.

After the melting period in boiling water, remove the can from the water using tongs or heat-protective gloves. Ensure it is dry before opening: chocolate and water do not mix well. The best part is coming: open the can and share a magical moment by enjoying the best chocolate in the world! Bon appétit!

Caution! The can should never be in direct contact with the flame or heated in a pot without water or insufficiently filled. This could cause the lid to open spontaneously and cause injury. The can should not be heated in the microwave, on a BBQ, or directly on a fire.

Mini-fondue 85g

Remove the lid and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Reheat in the microwave for 15-second intervals as needed until the chocolate is melted.

You can simply leave it in the original can. If you have the opportunity to get one of our silicone lids in-store, they are made to help preserve the fondues well. For reheating, you just need to put the fondue can back in boiling water, ensuring that the installed lid is tightly sealed on top. The water level should be about the same height as the remaining chocolate. Otherwise, you can boil it without the lid but with less water, ensuring no water splashes into the can. Also, reduce the cooking time slightly according to the remaining chocolate!

You can also pour the melted chocolate into a microwave-safe container and, when ready to continue enjoying it, melt it again in 30-second intervals in the microwave, ensuring to stir well between intervals to avoid burning the chocolate!

Our chocolates in-store have an expiration date on the back of the packaging, and the shelf life is generally quite long, several months after purchase.

As for fine chocolates, you can ask our staff for advice. Since they have themselves taken them out of the packaging and displayed them for you, they will be better able to indicate the shelf life.

Just remember to store chocolates at room temperature and in a dry place like your pantry (or in your secret hiding place, we won't tell anyone, promise!). We recommend not storing them in the refrigerator as chocolate is very sensitive to odors: we wouldn't want your delicious fine chocolates to absorb all the odors from your fridge.

We strive to offer different products and options to our customers, respecting their dietary or ethical choices as well as their allergies. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our products are free of all traces. Since our facilities are not certified, there is still a risk of cross-contamination for all our products. We must emphasize that we cannot guarantee the total absence of certain animal products and certain allergens such as peanuts, nuts, milk, soy, wheat, and sulfites.

Therefore, our product offerings are not suitable for people with severe allergies. However, we do offer some products like our P’tits parfaits caramel cakes, molten lava cakes and the Crispeez which are certified peanut-free, as they are produced in a certified factory! You can recognize the logo on the packaging of these products available inmost of our stores.

All our products are available in Chocolats Favoris stores across Canada. You can also purchase our products through our Online Store, which ships across the country.

Additionally, a selection of our famous fondues is sold in many retail stores. Notably, all IGA,, Metro, Provigo, Super C, Maxi, and in Jean Coutu and Brunet pharmacies.

You will also find our chocolate chips, our range of Kooky Cakes, and delicious frozen desserts as well as our Crispeez in several other retail stores.

Surprise flavours of fondues are only available in certain chocolateries and sometimes in our online store. You can contact the Chocolats Favoris store closest to you to know the availability of this product!
