The Melting Heart
Melt the heart of your darling with this decadent chocolate fondant signed Chocolats Favoris.
- One 425g can of your favorite flavor of Chocolats Favoris fondue (our chocolatiers recommend Dulce de leche)
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 7 tablespoons sifted flour
For 4 servings
- Preheat the oven to 375 °F with the rack in the center.
- Melt the chocolate as instructed on the Chocolats Favoris fondue can.
- Divide 1 tablespoon of melted butter equally into the 4 ramekins and spread well with a brush. Then divide 1 tablespoon of flour into the remekins, making sure to cover the entire surface (the ottom ans sides). Set aside.
- In the mixer, combine 2 eggs, 2egg yolks and the powdered sugar. Beat on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is foamy and white.
- Continue to beat while adding ½ cup of melted chocolate.
- Once the mixture is combined, slowly add 6 tablespoons of flour, then turn the mixer off.
- Divide half of the mixture into the ramekins. Put 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate on top of the mixture in each of the ramekins, then put the second half of the mixture in the ramekins.
- Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, then let sit for 2 minutes.
- Take the chocolate out of the ramekins and put onto a plate, or leave inside the ramekins for eating.
