Chocolate... How is it Made?

The magic of chocolate begins with the harvesting of cocoa beans, like a treasure hunt in tropical jungles! These small seeds are then fermented and sun-dried, as if they are sunbathing to develop their delicious flavors. Next, they go through a tanning session - roasting! Once well roasted, the beans are crushed to create a liquid cocoa paste, known as "cocoa liquor." This is where the real magic happens: sugar, milk powder, and maybe even a touch of vanilla are added to create a symphony of flavors. Then, it's the dance of chocolate: it is refined, conched (kneaded), and tempered to achieve its smooth and glossy texture. Finally, it is poured into molds, like artists painting their masterpiece, and then cooled to become the delicious chocolate confections we love to enjoy!
