For the dark chocolate layer:
- Melt the Chocolats Favoris Original Dark Fondue according to the packaging instructions. Open the can, stir well, and set aside.
- In a saucepan off the heat, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder. Add the milk and vanilla extract and whisk to combine. Set over medium heat and bring to a slow simmer, whisking from time to time. Lower the heat and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 to 2 minutes more, until the mixture has thickened. Remove from the heat, then whisk in the Chocolats Favoris Original Dark Fondue.
- Divide the dark chocolate mixture between 8 small glasses or ramekins, filling each to about a third of its capacity (use more glasses or ramekins if needed). Cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
