Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to preheat the waffle maker.
In a large bowl, mix the flour with the cornstarch, sugar, baking powder and chopped bacon.
In another bowl, beat the sugar with the eggs for 4–5 minutes using an electric mixer. Gradually whisk in oil and milk.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until well combined. Add the chocolate drops and stir again.
Follow the instructions on the package to heat the Hazelnut Praline Fondue.
Meanwhile, grease the waffle plates with cooking spray or oil. Pour about 180 ml (3/4 cup) of mixture into the waffle maker. Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the waffle is golden and crisp. Set aside on a plate. Repeat with the rest of the mixture to make six waffles.
Place the bacon slices on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for a few seconds. Cut the bacon slices into pieces.
