Chocolate puffed rice cones

Ingredients

BARS

  • 1/2 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter
  • 40 marshmallows
  • 5 cups (1.25 L) puffed rice
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted Original Milk Chocolate Drops
  • 10 to 12 ice cream cones
  • 2 cans (2 x 425 g) of your favourite chocolate fondue

TOPPINGS

  • Crushed pretzels
  • Cocoa nibs
  • Dried fruit
  • Some candy
  • Some popcorn

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Add the marshmallows and melt them.
  • Remove from heat, add the puffed rice and mix it well.
  • Melt the chocolate drops in a bain marie or in the microwave.Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate drops into each cone.
  • Shape the puffed rice mix into balls and place them into the cones. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Dip each cone until the base of the ball in a first fondue flavour and refrigerate for 15 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
  • Dip in a second fondue flavour.
  • Decorate immediately with garnishes of your choice and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Enjoy the cones at room temperature.
